A review of O2 Store by Sir Michael Griffiths written on Tuesday 30th of October 2018

My wife and I called into the store on Saturday 20th October

My wife will write about it

My phone battery was losing power within a couple of hours from full charge. No apps were open, I had added nothing new.

Sadly I Did not get the name of the unhelpful, long blonde haired girl who was supposed to be a member of

Helpful staff

I explained the situation, she scrolled through the phone to see no apps were open. She dimmed the brightness on the phone, gave it me back and said.that might be it!

I said it was not 12 months old until 2nd November.

I was told to turn the Wi-Fi off when not in use. I said I did not agree with it as others don't do that all of the time. I was told, it's not that much trouble to do.

I had to ask what if the brightness wasnt the problem, she said I could send it away for repair which would take about a week. I had to ask about a phone replacement!

She did not offer for an instore technician to look at it.

I said I would come back if it had not resolved the problem

What a miserable, unhelpful member of staff. Maybe it was because I was not giving her a commission on a sale

I went home and contacted a relative who is a Manager at a Three store.

She gave me advice.

My contract is with o2 not Three!

I then actually closed down most things on the phone and not WiFi

This isn't right. I payed for a phone service i could actually use properly

I have a contract with o2 until November. I moved from EE who I have been with for a number of years.

I will not be renewing with o2.

My contract may not be very much money, and losing one customer can spread to many with staff like this i.
